Our Mission

navNote is building the AI OS for retail, one platform where AI agents run end-to-end store operations instead of teams stitching together a half-dozen point tools. Cloud, on-premise, or hybrid.

Origin Story

navNote started as a research project in a dorm room at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah in 2025. From there it grew through Provo, Utah (Silicon Slopes) and Beacon, New York before establishing the headquarters at 5550 Hellyer Ave, San Jose, CA 95138, in Silicon Valley. navNote also runs an Innovation Center at 60 Madison Avenue, 9th Floor, in the Flatiron district of Manhattan. navNote alumni now lead technology at IBM and Boeing.

navNote is privately backed by CurrencyM Ventures, The Moinian Group, and Cook Investing. Its on-premise AI is built in a deep technology partnership with mimik Technologies (mim OE), spanning architecture, engineering, and go-to-market, with SAKUU as a strategic partner.

navNote collaborates with leading grocery retailers, including Kroger and its Smith's and Fred Meyer banners, for API access and operational mentorship. It was selected for the Perplexity Business Fellowship with access to Perplexity AI Labs, and has showcased its product at OpenAI hackathons. Advisors include Dr. Zwick (co-founder of Pulse Labs), with advisory and academic ties to Stanford and early incubation support from iHub Utah.

navNote already serves paying customers and active pilots, and holds letters of intent to extend its platform beyond retail into adjacent physical-operations sectors such as manufacturing-site management and warehouse management.
