navNote Privacy Policy

How navNote collects, uses, stores, and protects data. Cloud, on-premise, or hybrid for full data sovereignty.

Privacy at navNote

navNote is the AI OS for retail, used by retail chains, CPG brands, and field-service organizations to run store operations. We treat operations data, location telemetry, photos, and account information as sensitive by default. This summary describes what we collect, why, where it lives, and how to control it. The full Privacy Policy on this page is the binding legal document.

What We Collect

  • Account data, name, work email, role, organization, login method (email, Google, or enterprise SSO).
  • Operations data, stores, tasks, audits, planogram results, price/promotion checks, photos uploaded from iOS, Android, or web clients.
  • Location data, geofenced visit detection, automatic check-in/check-out, route history (only when the user grants permission on the device).
  • Usage telemetry, device type, app version, error reports, and anonymized usage events used to keep navNote stable.

Data Residency & Sovereignty

Cloud customers run on navNote-managed infrastructure with standard encryption in transit and at rest. Enterprise customers can choose on-premise deployment (data and AI models stay entirely inside their network) or hybrid (sensitive workloads on-prem, scale-out workloads in the cloud) for full data sovereignty, regulated-industry compliance, and air-gapped environments.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. For privacy questions, deletion requests, GDPR / CCPA / regional data requests, or DPA contracts, email contact@navNote.ai.
